Association of Norwegian Chambers of Commerce
The Association of Norwegian Chambers of Commerce is an umbrella organization on
behalf of the various chambers of commerce in Norway in their international
activities. Chambers of commerce are member institutions with the aim to promote
trade and represent interests of the business society, in national as well as in
international issues. There are 12.000 chambers of commerce worldwide, which
constitute a mutual network for business contacts and facilitation of
international trade. Chambers of commerce are regional, non-sector based
organizations. In many countries submitted to public law with obligatory
membership for all companies, while in the Nordic countries, the UK, Canada and
in the USA chambers of commerce are private organizations with voluntary
membership.

Federation of Norwegian Industries
As such, it is the largest association within the NHO with 25 percent of the
total employees (full time equivalents) in NHO member companies. The federation
represents around 3000 member companies with approx. 127,500 employees. Member
companies' interests are our main focus. The Federation of Norwegian Industries
engages in the most important industrial and business policy issues of the day.

Virke, The Federation of Norwegian Enterprise, organizes and represents over 24
000 businesses with more than 280 000 employees. We work to improve the
framework conditions for our members, and a Norway that values and supports

knowledge, technology, travel, service, health, care, education, culture and

Finance Norway
Finance Norway is the trade and employers’ association for the financial
industry in Norway. We represent 260 financial companies with 50,000 employees.
We are associated with Norways largest employers' organisation; the NHO (The
Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise). We organize primarily banks, insurance
companies, pension companies, Debt collection companies and fintechs. We
advocate the views of the industry towards different groups in Norwegian
society; politicians, government, consumer authorities, international
collaborators and decision makers and consumers.

Norwegian Seafood Council
The Norwegian Seafood Council is a marketing communications organisation working
together with the Norwegian seafood industry to increase the value of Norwegian
seafood in new and established markets all over the world. NSC is a public
company owned by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries. The Ministry of
Trade, Industry and Fisheries appoints the board of directors for NSC for a 2
year period. The Norwegian seafood industry finances the activities of the
Council through fees levied on all exports of Norwegian seafood.

The Oslo Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization for Norwegian
companies. We make it easier to engage in international business through network
